About the Role
Water Treatment System Installer
We are seeking an experienced Water Treatment System Installer to join our team. As a Water System Installer, you will be responsible to ensure the highest quality installations and customer service. You will maintain, repair, install various commercial and residential water treatment systems. Wage varies depending on previous experience.
Responsibilities:
Install, assemble, and set up various types of water treatment equipment, such as water softeners, reverse osmosis, whole-home filtration systems, and disinfection systems. This includes connecting pipes, valves, and electrical components according to specifications and codes.
Service wells, well pumps & systems, and problem water. Deal with emergency no water calls in rural areas.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on water treatment systems to ensure their optimal performance. This may involve cleaning filters, replacing worn-out parts, inspecting valves and fittings, and checking system parameters. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Conduct water quality tests to assess the effectiveness of installed systems and verify compliance with regulatory standards. Calibrate and adjust equipment to meet required specifications. Document test results and maintain accurate records.
Interact with customers to understand their specific water treatment needs, provide recommendations, and address any concerns or questions they may have. Educate customers on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures. Ensure excellent customer service throughout the installation and service process.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with water treatment systems. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices. Follow guidelines for handling and disposing of hazardous materials safely.
Maintain detailed records of installation, maintenance, repairs, and customer interactions. Prepare service reports, work orders, and other documentation as required. Provide accurate and timely reports to supervisors or project managers.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless project execution and timely completion of tasks. Coordinate with suppliers to order necessary parts and equipment.

Salary: Up to $50.00 per hour

Requirements
Prior experience as a plumber is highly preferred
Previous experience as a electrician is preferred but not a must
Have very good knowledge about electricity and plumbing
Previously working as water treatment system installer is definitely an asset
Able to work in a fast paced environment and changing circumstances
Strong attention to detail and able to follow instructions accurately
Able to work independently or within the team
Able to drive or travel daily to different cities to perform the job duty
Punctual and dependable; Flexible with overtime and weekends
Physically able to handle heavy equipment when necessary
Able to read technical manuals/schematics
Driver license required
WSIB or insurance is preferred
